Happy Turkey Day!!

Ok still catching up!!

So this year instead of going to Michigan for Christmas we went for thanksgiving! It was Awesome having thanksgiving with my brother and sister in-law, my brother and my dad!! Then spent all night shopping with my sister in-law it was the best! Here are some pictures of our turkey!!

So the kids were probably happier then any kid in a candy store today! We received our box from Grandma Carole and in it was a few wrapped gifts and some xmas cards.. (I love my Brown bag its kind of like a scrap book bag.) Anyhow they opened there cards from grandma and look what was in side WHAT?? $50.00 Each.. Yep.. Alexus thought hers was a $500.00 bill and she was going to go by a ipad.. (funny little girl she is) So they decided to save the money for our family sea world trip so they would have spending money down there. YAY Grandma Carole you are the coolest grandma ever!

Amazing Thank You FWPD

Over a year ago i had my purse and alot of my belongings stolen out of my car. There was alot of car thefts around the area then. They took My purse with my Check books in it along with my GPS. They didn't get any money tho. That next day i called the police filed a report and then shut all credit cards down and put a fraud alert on my bank accounts. It took a entire day. AMAZING..  Now over a year later i have a FWPD car pull up in front of my house and bring me this. It is my wallet and all of my cards. HOLY COW.. Seriously? Some kid found it in a near by creek. All i have to say is God is Great! The picture is whats left of everything.

2011 Christmas Program

My Grandma..

October was one of the hardest months i have ever had ever. It all started when i decided to write my grandma a letter letting her know how much i miss her and how excited i was that i was doing the Susan G Komen walk for the cure. ( I had no idea she was sick) I sent the letter and waited.. a few weeks later i went out to the mailbox and i had a letter!! I was so excited! This was Thursday October 6th 2011 i sat down and read it. It was so hard to read the words learning that a person that i new my whole life this person who was suppose to be a mother to me would lie to me and my grandma for years. Its made me over come in tears i just wanted to hug my grandma. Then my phone rings that same day and my dad called and he sounded so upset and said "Cathy i think something is wrong with your grandma your mom called and said your grandma isn't going to make it thru the weekend." WHAT??? how could that be? I just got a letter from her and it was 4 pages long.. How in the world could someone write a 4 page letter and then go to not going to make it? I couldn't believe it i was in shock. All this time i thought i would have time and it turns out my time ran out. I was told aweful things that i was disowned by my grandmother because i had children at a young age and my grandpa didn't even consider me a grand child anymore. ( this all turned out to be lies all told by a women who i thought was my mother)

My days turned in to hours i rented a car and left at 10:00pm Texas time drove 17hrs thru the night to be able to give my grandma a very last hug not because of her condition but because that opertunity had been taken from me for so many years. I made it to grandma at about 6:30pm and stayed with her we laughed and put her pretty pumpkin earrings in and talked about the kids i showed her pictures and told her how much I

missed her. We also got to talk about the letter and how sorry i was that i didn't write sooner. (God i wish i would have wrote sooner.) at about 10pm she fell asleep and that was the last time i ever talked to my Grandma. Saturday she was completely unresponsive and Sunday early in the morning she walked with Jesus thru the gates of heaven. Grandma i know i read this at your funral but i wanted to write this here.....

My darling grandma, you are taking a little part of us with you as you follow your angels who will guide you to your precious place. May you look down on us with pride on what you brought into this world with your guidance in which you are now truly our angel of grace.

My darling grandma, as you enter your new heavenly home, may you rest in peace for which you truly deserve for you will be truly missed and remembered for your love and honor in which we will preserve. We love you always and forever may god be with you

Kids

Mackenzie is getting so big!! She is now Almost 5 Can you believe it. She has pretty Much spent her entire toddler years in Texas and is starting a small southern accent. Although i do miss sledding with her and taking her to the big lakes she has experienced some pretty cool things down here. She Seen the ocean and got to touch and feed a giraffe up close and personal. She got to go to a Cowboys Game (yep) she is spoiled look at her its hard to say no.. LOL but I <3 her bunches....

Austin is my little man (big man hes almost taller than me..) Ugh i know it doesn't take much.. I miss his little stages.. He is turning in to such a great kid. I love to watch him grow. He also has experienced so much one of his favorite memories i know is going to the Cowboys game! He is a HUGE Football fan and loves playing it. I <3 being a Football mom!!

Miss Alexus... She is my ALL GIRL little girl.. She loves Make up and nail polish and her hair done just right and she wants all the high end clothes and she is more than happy to think that money grows on trees.. =) I have been becoming more accustomed to this (as i was never a girly girl growing up) She is a amazing Artist and i will encourage that beyond anything because she loves it. I am her biggest fan!

Its Been a While..

Ok So we are going to do this in a nut shell... There has been so much going on since the last post and its already a new year! Whew where does the time go?? My kids are growing so much and the struggles and the strengths of parent hood are happening but its the best part when even a bad day turns into a good one.. November i have to say was one of my Fav Months. I got to walk in the Susan G Komen 3 day walk and it was inspirational and amazing. I finished all 60 miles and walked with some amazing women

Our team raised over $45,000.00 AMAZING!! It was so exciting and i couldn't imagaine not doing it again. Here are a few pictures from that race.

Wow.. Seems like forever! Maybe it takes my Husband to travel away from me and sit down and write on this blog (knowing i have a million other things to do) So lets see what we have been up to!
First off- I got a new job within the mortgage industry.. Its been very difficult for me to juggle having a job and trusting the right nanny to care for our Children.. Just been a tough time! I have Slowed way down on photos just don't have time for it! (kinda sucks because that is my passion and the one thing that put me in a place i wanted to be)

Secondly- Austin Played Baseball and yet another trophy for our shelf!! Kid is crazy talented when it comes to Sports I love it! He is off to Play Spring Football!! Wahooooo

Alexus- Played Softball YEP she did actually play she didn't like it much because she didn't get all the action but i give her Credit because she actually put her all in it and didn't give up! She is off to be a Cheerleader for the first time this spring! (OH lord help me) :)

Little Mackenzie- Hmm What to say about Miss Mackenzie.. She is a PAIN in the butt! I think her terrible 2's came 1 year late!! We are gearing up for her 4th birthday!! I can't believe she is almost 4 and she has been planning this for a whole year! Can we say Tinkerbell party :)

My wonderful Husband- He is working working working!! Actually he is on his way to Michigan right now in the American eagle airplane... ( i miss you already) Lord knows i am not sure how he puts up with me some times But so glad he does because he is the love of my life!
