Tax free Shopping in Texas!


Ok So this is the Coolest thing i have ever heard of and thanks to Step for telling me about this.. I get to benifit from it haha.. Texas as everyone prolly knows.. has 8.25% Sales tax but we don't have any State Tax... Its alot to get used to because you think twice about going and buying expensive things because the sales tax... Anyways here is a small list of things you can buy this come weekend..
Baby clothes
Backpacks for use by elementary and secondary students
Belts with attached buckles
Boots - cowboy, hiking
Caps/hats - baseball, fishing, golf, knitted
Coats and wraps
Diapers - adult and baby
Dresses
Gloves (generally)
Gym suits and uniforms
Hooded shirts and hooded sweatshirts
Hosiery

Jerseys - baseball and football

That is a great idea. MI should do it too! I know our sales tax isn't quite as high, but it would still be a nice break and probably give the economy a boost :) Have fun shopping.
